I Remember

I Remember / the ancient hills / the wind on my face / the will to power / the runes / the gods and goddesses / the eternal stories / the myths and their living truth / snow and ice against my raised hands in Might.

I Remember myself through all of that / I've been there / I Am / I always will Be.

I Remember that with firm inner quiet strenght of the eternal present / and I look at this madness of the modern world / that scream in its desperation for something Real / and do not even recognize that / just rushing forth like an insane hurricane / destroying itself / a tragic age.

I Remember the mysteries / breathing in and through them / I Remember and I embrace the Holy / raising the horn filled with the mead of the All-Father / and I open my mouth for the first time again / Purity in direct experience of Real! / I Remember! / Wassail!

Thank you.... I will sit with this, next to my desk and glance at it between the mundane activities of the day... ..."and I look at this madness of the modern world / that scream in its desperation for something Real"...the poem grounds me in something Real and reflects the Sacred for me..:RtR:

Tulkoon pimeys
tulkoon viileys
yön hajut
ja ajatuksen selkeys

Nukkukaa te
- orjat!
unissannekin
olette enemmän valveilla
te hukutte ilmaan
osaatte suodattaa vain huumetta
...soma pieni maailmanne

Kuljen polkuja
joita ette edes näe
ne vaativat hiljaisuutta
ja pimennettyjä lyhtyjä
jotta löytäisi
ymmärtäisi
sydämensä kirkkauden
